  3. This program was developed from our COBOL reformatter and structured
  4. preprocessor COBFORM. (Also available from us as shareware)
  5.  
  6. It was originally developed in 1979 on an ICL mainframe. (A 2904 with a
  7. whole 92k words, to be precise). It has been converted by amending and
  8. recompiling the COBOL source, hence the large EXE file size.
  9.  
  10. We do not have any plans at present to recode it in a more concise language.
  11. The rule is "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

  14. The source of this version was lost so I had to rewrite from scratch

  17. Version 1.11 - June 1993
  18. Improved to circumvent compiler bugs, and to allow larger programs.
  19. This has meant increasing the EXE file size to 490k!
